Engel Powered Coolers

Famous for durability, efficiency and fast cooling, Engel coolers have been used world-wide for decades by explorers, sailors, medical professionals and campers alike with great reviews since 1963. We also have Engel cooler lock downs and insulated protective travel bags.

They run on 12VDC or 110VAC and can be set up for both at the same time. The unit searches for AC first. Failing to find AC, it will automatically switch itself over to DC.

It can be plugged into any 12V cigarette lighter style socket: in the car (picnics, tailgate parties), on the boat, etc. It can be carried home and used on AC for cold drinks when throwing a backyard party.

Each Engel comes with a 10A external fuse, detachable power leads (9' for the 35 and 45, 5' DC "pigtail" for the 65), side handles, variable temp control, and 2 year warranty. They use 134A refrigerant gas.

The Engel can be set for refrigeration temperature, for deep freeze (can't even get a spoon into the ice cream!), or on regular freeze (good for ice cream). For a short time (a few days), meats can be kept frozen on fridge-mode if the packages are frozen solid beforehand, placed deep on the bottom of the Engel, the frozen layer covered with bubble wrap for insulation, while the top layer in the box is used for refrigeration.

Refrigerator Slide Tray

The Fridge Slide Trays are kinda new. They're very heavy-duty metal mounts that are particularly useful in RV storage compartments that are accessed from outside and are located below the living space.

The slide tray base is installed inside the compartment. The Engel mounts into the tray. And the tray can slide out of the base in the compartment such that the Engel is supported on the metal tray while you access the contents of the fridge-freezer. Then the tray (with the Engel) slides back inside, over the base, for storage.
