The Multistar Mark III is the last in our masthead-use "Star" series group and has now moved to limited production status

Multistar Mark III is an LED based replacement bulb and an associated control switch, that will convert an existing "stand-alone" all-around white light (anchor light) fixture of the PERKO series 200 cases or the "Aqua-Signal" series 40 cases for use as both an Anchor light and a Tri-Color for sailing at night, when mounted at the masthead on a sailing vessel up to 65' in length.

Use of this unit may require you to re-mount your existing fixture to obtain correct orientation of the colored (red-green) segments with relationship to your boat, but the installation is a simple as a normal bulb change.

This conversion is as simple as a bulb change and the installation of an included special control switch module that will utilize the existing two-conductor wiring found in the usual "anchor-light-only" fixtures.

This switch module will allow the user to select either the Anchor light mode or the Tri-Color mode of operation. The photo shows both modes in operation simultaneously for illustrative purposes, but in actual use, either the top white segment would be "on" OR the lower colored segment.both segments are contained in the same "bulb".

The Multistar Mark III is now available in limited production, so try to give us as much lead-time as you can to fill your order. Like the other bulbs in the "Star" series, it will be powered by our proprietary VPW (variable pulse width) circuitry, so it will share all of the other attributes and advantages of the FirstStar Mark II and the Tri-Star Mark II.

The cost for a MulitStar conversion kit is $495.00, including both the LED based dual-mode "bulb" and special polarity-shifting control switch.
